Pakistan Playing XI: Pakistan & India’s Recent Form
Pakistan looks in an astute form winning all the five ODIs they have played this year. Their recent form could give a tough fight to the Indian clan who has won 3 out of 5 ODIs played. Pakistan’s Playing XI is the same that has faced India in their previous fixture & looks all set to face the Indian setup.
Pakistan’s Naseem Shah though doesn’t possess the pace of Shaheen Shah Afridi or Haris Rauf, he possesses the ability to skid the ball off the pitch, making him a unique threat. Naseem has a talent for making Indian batters uncomfortable on the field which was seen during his T20I debut against India in Asia Cup 2022. He will try to replicate the same in this IND vs. PAK Asia Cup 2023 clash.
Meanwhile, for India, there are two positives as KL Rahul makes a comeback to the Playing XI after a long layoff due to an injury. However, Rahul’s return will put the Indian team in a selection dilemma as they might have to choose between Ishan Kishan & KL Rahul in the Playing XI. While jasprit Bumrah who missed their last fixture against Nepal due to the birth of his child too will return to the setup. His inclusion will add depth to India’s pace attack. However, Bumrah’s return will result in Shami missing out from Playing XI.
