Ahead of the much-anticipated fixture, the BCCI has stunned its fans by releasing the details of the closing ceremony organized for the fans attending the marquee clash. The match will be played at the World’s largest cricket Stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Just a day before the marquee clash, BCCI released the schedule of the ODI World Cup 2023 closing ceremony.
Details of Performances at ODI World Cup 2023 Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony for the ODI World Cup 2023 has been divided into four major shows. There will be a pre-match show that will include the Uryakiran IAF Airshow, which starts right after the toss at 1.35 pm IST. The show will be held from 1.35 pm to 1.50 pm. After the conclusion of the IAF Airshow, the national anthems will be conducted for both teams with the first ball being bowled at 2 pm.
Then in the first innings break, there will be a famous performance of Coke Studio India’s New Viral song Khalasi’s Music Producer Aditya Gadhvi. The innings break will have a longer program with musician Pritam Chakraborty, singers Jonita Gandhi, Nakash Aziz, Amit Mishra, Akasa Singh, and Tushar Joshi performing. In the second innings break there will be a laser & a light show at the stadium making the moment much more memorable for the fans

The BCCI has announced the closing ceremony just a day before the final clash. There are also reports that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian PM Anthony Albanese or his deputy could be present the the stadium to watch the final. There are also reports that ICC has invited all the World cup Cup-winning captains so far as the guest of honor for the prestigious World Cup 2023 final. India’s two World Cup-winning captains MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev are likely to be there alongside Clive Lloyd, Allan Border, and Ricky Ponting among others. Eoin Morgan, England captain who won the last World Cup as captain, is already in India as part of the broadcast team.
The sight will be truly to behold as the stadium will be jam-packed with fans with blue-color jerseys. And they will be treated with high-octane entertainment & action-packed cricket both at the same time. But amidst all the entertainment all the eyes will be on India and Australia as these two sides look to increase the number of World Cup trophies in their cabinet.
