Publishers 2K Games have announced details for NBA 2K24 Season 5, and there are plenty of things in store for fans. Season 5 will be awarded with different rewards across all game modes, and it also marks Bad Bunny’s entry into the game as part of the crossover series. For the first time, 2K Games has announced the release date of the new season. A detailed report also highlights the key rewards that can be obtained during modes such as MyCareer and MyTeam. With the added incentive of the crossover series, players will have plenty of incentive to work hard when the new season begins.
There is a fresh trailer for the new season that is available on the game’s official X account. The fifth season goes live on Friday, February 23. This is the same day when the ongoing Season 4 will end, and all content, including rewards, will be removed.
Season 5 MyCareer rewards

MyCareer mode is perfect for those who want to make it big on the virtual courtside. To make matters more interesting for fans, there will be plenty of cosmetics to unlock for the community. Here are some of the special rewards that will be available:
- Level 1 Season 5 Tee and Ball
- Level 10 Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks Team Banner
- level 20 wearable mascot
- Level 27 Leather Jacket
- Level 30 Black-on-Black Jetpack
- Level 35 Season 5 Pinstripe Suit
- Level 37 Tim Duncan and Larry Bird Banner
- Level 39 Motorized Drift Trike
- Level 40 Gold Floor Setter (NG)
Many new templates have also been added, including current NBA superstars and former legends.
MyTeam Rewards

MyTeam mode allows players to obtain special cards and create their own fantasy team. A special crossover spotlight challenge will allow players to earn more cosmetics as well as 89-rated Bad Bunny items. In addition to the Spotlight Challenge, a new season pass launches with level 1 free agent Kevin Durant to kick things off. Level 10 is Amethyst Steven Adams, who would be perfect for the C role.

This NBA 2K24 Season 5 Pass is highlighted by the Level 40 Galaxy Opal James Harden item. Additionally, players will unlock more special cards featuring superstars like Caron Butler and Pete Maravich. Level 30 also adds a new renowned head coach in the form of Diamond’s Erik Spoelstra. Once again, a paid upgrade to the NBA 2K24 Season 5 Season Pass will also be available. The paid option includes all the items available on the free version but also adds 40 tiers of premium rewards to earn.
