This summer was the most extended offseason in four years, making fans impatient. The 2020 offseason was the shortest, with only 71 days, while the 2021 offseason lasted 90 days. Preseason schedule
The training camp will begin on October 3, and the preseason will start on October 5. All Teams will play five games, and this preseason will end on October 20. The Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves will travel to the UAE to play in the NBA Abu Dhabi Games. The matches are scheduled to take place on October 5 and October 7. The league is also hosting the Canada Series this year. The Sacramento Kings and the Toronto Raptors will face off in Vancouver on October 8. After this, The Oklahoma City Thunder will play against the Detroit Pistons in Montreal on October 12.
The new season kick-off
October 24 will mark the beginning of the 2023–24 NBA season. The opening match will feature the 2023 Western Conference finals rematch, which means the defending champion Denver Nuggets will take on the LA Lakers. The second game will feature the Phoenix Suns taking on the Golden State Warriors, led by Stephen Curry. This match will also mark the return of Kevin Durant, who last faced the Warriors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other dates to watch include Victor Wembanyama’s NBA debut, LeBron James and Kevin Durant’s first rematch since December 2018, and the first final rematch of 2023.
