Royal Rumble is one of the most anticipated premium live events of WWE. After Wrestlemania and SummerSlam, this is the third-biggest event of WWE. This year the Rumble was held on January 28, but the date and location for the 2024 edition were announced on Wednesday. Next year, Royal Rumble will be hosted in Tampa Bay, Florida. The event will take place at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. The show will be held in the city for the first time since 1995.Â

As far as the event date is concerned, the 2024 Rumble will take place on January 27, Saturday. The company has not disclosed what time the event will take place. Tickets and other details are also yet to be announced. According to WWE’s press release, it will be available soon. A Royal Rumble priority pass has also been added to the WWE website and will be made available soon. This will allow fans early access to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the public.Â
The Undisputed Champion is not advertisedÂ
The last time fans saw Roman Reigns in action was at SummerSlam 2023. He defeated his former bloodline member, Jey Uso. Since then, the WWE Universal Champion has not been seen fighting in the ring, and there has been no clarification given regarding his status. While the fans expect the Tribal Chief to compete in a big event like Royal Rumble, he has not been advertised. In the first poster revealed for the 2024 edition, Roman Reigns is nowhere seen among the group of superstars.Â
Will Roman make an appearance in the Rumble ?
Fans are disappointed to see Roman Reigns not included in the initial poster of Royal Rumble 2024. However, WWE always surprises the fans with big and unexpected returns, so Reigns could be seen competing. The last time he competed at the Rumble was in 2023, when he defended his Universal Championship against Kevin Owens. It will be interesting to see if Reigns will be involved in another big rivalry at the Rumble next year.
