Logan Paul and Dillon Danis are all set to take on each other on October 14, 2023. This boxing match is a part of the Misfits x DAZN: The Prime Card event, which will be featured in Manchester, England. Paul’s last boxing match was against Floyd Mayweather in June 2021. Since then, Paul has been more closely associated with WWE, but now he is finally returning to the octagon to face Danis.
Details of the first Press conference Â
Dillon Danis , on the other hand, previously backed out of a fight with KSI in January, and now he will be facing KSI’s associate and business partner in his inaugural boxing match. The first official press conference for the Danis vs. Paul match will be held on August 22, 2023, at the OVO Arena Wembley in London. The conference is due to start at 4 p.m. (UK time), and according to Misfits co-founders Cale and Nisse Sauerland, the limited tickets for this got sold out in just under a minute. However, MMA fans around the world can watch the live event on DAZN and Misfitboxing’s official YouTube channels.
Â
So far, the buildup event hasn’t seen an intense verbal exchange, though “El Jefe” has already begun making personal comments about Logan Paul and his fiancĂ©e, Nina Adgal, on several social media platforms. The meeting on August 22 will reveal how things will be revealed when both fighters meet in person for the first time.
Paul thinks his opponent will back off from the fightÂ
The anticipation surrounding Maverick and Danis’ fight is mixed with skepticism. Earlier this year, Danis pulled out of his match against KSI just a week before the scheduled date. Now there’s widespread speculation that a similar scenario could happen for Logan Paul, especially given that he recently revealed the inclusion of a contingency clause in Dennis’ fight agreement.
Recently, during an episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan stated that he is pretty sure that Danis is not going to come out. “The clause is: if he passes out because of some kind of injury that he fakes, then a doctor of our choice would have to verify the injury, and if he really is faking it, he would have to pay $100,000, he said.
