Drama seems never-ending even after the end of the ODI World Cup 2023! Australia’s all-rounder Mitchell Marsh finds himself in troubled waters after an FIR was lodged against him in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The FIR was lodged by RTI activist Pandit Keshav who terms that Marsh’s action of disrespecting World Cup Trophy has deeply offended Indian Cricket fans. The batsman was seen resting his legs on the World Cup trophy while sipping a beer at the team hotel in Ahmedabad.
It all happened after India’s tragic loss to Australia. Despite the fact that the World Cup is not a sole property of India, Pandit Keshav acted swiftly as an RTI activist lodging a formal complaint against Marsh. He also forwarded the complaint copy to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging strict measures against the Australian cricketer. His plea went on to propose a ban on Marsh playing cricket in India, citing that he has shown disrespect to the Prestigious World Cup Trophy.

Emotions continue to run high among the disappointed fans who are waiting for the authorities to take strict action against Marsh.
Even after producing spectacular performances throughout the tournament, India lost the ODI World Cup 2023 final to Australia. The loss left the Indian fans and cricket team in tears as they expected a different result. One team was in tears for the World Cup trophy while the other team was treating it like a thrash, such behavior outraged Indian fans.
Meanwhile, cricket pundits & even R Ashwin applauded the Australian team for exemplary execution of strategy & guiding Australia to sixth title win. There were certain individuals who made reprehensible comments on social media posts of Australian players and their families, including threats of violence. But amongst all the chaos you can’t ignore the fact that the Aussies displayed their ‘A game’ in the ODI World Cup 2023 Final & snatched the trophy from India’s hands. But Indian fans supported the entire team with their whole heart as they played stupendous cricket in the tenure of 2 months & deserved the prestigious trophy in every sense.
