Matthew Wade to Lead Australia in T20I Series Against India
Australia is gearing up for an exciting Twenty20 tour of India in November and December, with Matthew Wade set to captain the squad. Many members of the squad have previous experience of playing in India, including eight members of the current ODI World Cup squad. This knowledge of Indian conditions could prove crucial in their performance during the upcoming series. Additionally, young talent like Tanveer Sangha, currently a travelling reserve, will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience.
Continuity for Some, Return for Others
Several players from the World Cup squad will remain in India after the tournament to participate in the T20 series. These include Josh Inglis, Sean Abbott, Travis Head, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, and Adam Zampa. Moreover, star players David Warner and Steve Smith, who missed the South African T20 series, have been selected for the India tour.
