Yashasvi Jaiswal has been making waves in international cricket with his batting exploits across formats. In the recently concluded first Test match against England, he played a stellar knock of 80 runs off just 74 balls, including 10 fours and 3 sixes.
Following his knock, he grabbed headlines but not only because of that solitary reason. A group of English women wearing Indian jerseys were also cheering for Jaiswal during that game.

One particular girl from the group named Maddie Hamilton gained interest. Jaiswal has been following Hamilton on Instagram and also posted a picture with him in 2018. Maddie Hamilton hails from the UK and is a student who has been seen accompanying Jaiswal on various occasions.
According to the rumour mills, the duo has been dating for a few years now. Maddie Hamilton often makes her presence felt in the stadium cheering for Yashasvi Jaiswal and is, reportedly, dating the Indian cricketer.
Although, neither of them has officially confirmed or denied the rumour. Maddie Hamilton has close to 20,000 followers on Instagram but hasn’t shared any pictures with the Indian cricketer.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was born on 28th December 2001 in Suriyawan, Uttar Pradesh. He comes from an extremely humble background having been raised in a modest family with six children.

At just ten years of age, he moved to Mumbai to pursue only one dream of becoming a cricketer. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s story is about undying spirit, resilience and unwavering belief in his dreams.
In his early days, he lived in tents with groundsmen and also sold Panipuri for his survival, after living the same life for about three years. The trajectory of his career took a turn when Jwala Singh, who ran a cricket academy in Santacruz, spotted him and became his legal guardian.
He gave him a place to stay and trained him. He took his first steps in his International cricket career after getting selected in the Indian squad for the Test series against West Indies in June 2023.
In his very first Test, Jaiswal played a sensational knock of 171 runs and bagged the Player of the match for his performance as well. He has now become part of India’s Test team and opens India’s batting with incumbent Rohit Sharma.
