During an episode of the “Believe You Me podcast” Anthony told Michael Bisping that there are several UFC fighters who would do well in WWE. A Few days ago UFC merged with WWE, this was finalized earlier this week.
The “Lionheart” mentioned some names and praised Lightweight’s pro work. “Michael Chandler, that guy can cut a promo, and I think he’s pretty athletic, he’s got kind of a muscular build. You zoom in on him, he might look like he’s 250 pounds, you don’t go out completely”, he said.
We might see Iron in WWE
The three-time Bellator Lightweight Champion’s pro features several references to pro wrestling. One noteworthy moment is his post-fight interview following his UFC debut, which was compared to WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair’s backstage interview following his Royal Rumble win. Chandler’s walkout song is also a nod to WWE, as it is the same song that serves as the intro for their show, Monday Night Raw. It will be interesting to see if “Iron” agrees to Anthony Smith and appear in WWE at some point in the future, now that WWE has merged with the UFC to form TKO.

During the podcast mentioned above, Smith revealed what he likes most about WWE and praised the superstars for their ability to perform high-risk stunts. “Lionheart” also said that he enjoys the psychology aspect of WWE and how they are able to keep fans engaged with long-term storylines.
