Legends League Cricket 2023 is unveiled & the league will begin on November 18 & the tournament will go on until December 9. A total of 19 matches will be played among six teams from November 18. Two qualifying teams will engage in a gripping final clash on December 9. 19 fixtures will be played across five cities in India i.e. Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu, Vizag, and Surat.
The Legends League Cricket 2023 released an Official statement confirming the venue of the tournament. “The forthcoming season of Legends League Cricket would add to the flavor of the league with top legends of sport descending into India”, the organizers confirmed in the statement.
Legends League Cricket 2023 will see mega-stars participating
The zealous tournament will begin with Delhi Capitals & Bhilwara Kings locking horns in the opening clash followed by a game between Manipal Tigers and Gujarat Giants on November 20. The encounter will be of utmost importance as LLC 2022 finalists India Capitals & Bhilwara Kings will kickstart the Legends League Cricket 2023 edition. On the other hand, Urbanisers Hyderabad played their first match against Southern Superstars on November 21.
Jammu will host four matches from November 27 to December 1. Vizag, on the other hand, will be the venue for three matches from December 2 to December 4, adding to the cricket fever. The knockout phase of LLC 2023 will be played in Surat with the semi-finals slated to be played on December 5 and December 6. The grand finale of the season will be held on December 9.
Two New Franchisees Entering Legends League Cricket 2023
Meanwhile, two new franchisees have been included in the LLC 2023 season they are Urban Risers Hyderabad & Southern Superstars. The Urban Risers Hyderabad will be led by former Indian Cricketer Suresh Raina while Southern Superstars, will be captained by former Australia skipper Aaron Finch.
Notable Cricketers such as Suresh Raina, Hashim Amla, Aaron Finch, Ross Taylor & Chris Gayle will play in the league.
Ravi Shastri who is the commissioner of LLC expressed his delight over the commencement of the new season of Legends League Cricket 2023. He said that they are ready for the challenge and Legends League Cricket is a perpetual delight. The addition of more legendary players will increase the on-field excitement.
He further said that they are expecting to turn the league into a most memorable experience for their fans and cricketing fraternity. The league is witnessing significant growth & positive changes in every season which is a big thing.
