On Tuesday, the LA Clippers had to play their remaining game against the Sacramento Kings with one player down. Their shooting guard, Paul George, was forced to leave the game midway because of a sore groin. He was not on the court when the third quarter began and was ruled not to return for the game. Upon exiting, George had nine points, six rebounds, one assist, two steals and two three-pointers in 16 minutes of play. The good thing for the Clippers was that they managed to hold down the fort despite his absence and took a comfortable 99-70 lead over the Kings by the end of the third quarter.

It still remains to be seen if the eight-time NBA All-Star will be available for the game against the Golden State Warriors or not. “PG13” leads the Clippers in scoring this season with 23.2 points, to go along with 5.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.7 steals for 36 points. Heading into their game against the Sacramento Kings, the Clippers were on a four-game winning streak and were in eighth place in the Western Conference with a 12–10 card.

George stated that the team has gone through a rough patch of how to play and has found success in them now. He believed that the team is in a good place, they know what rotation is, and they are getting into rhythm. He also said that now the team has consistency and is in good shape. The team looks good both on offense and defense and now it is time for them to test it.

When Harden joined the Clippers from the Philadelphia 76ers in early November, they struggled initially and lost their first five games with him. However, now they have improved many things, winning nine of their next 12 games, Including the last four. Paul George is leading the team with 23.2 points, followed by Kawhi Leonard with 23 points and James Harden with 15 points.
