A day after Ravindra Jadeja’s father made massive revelations about his relationship with his son, an old tweet from Ravindra went viral on the internet.
The Indian cricketer shared that tweet in November 2012 and it has now been grabbing eyeballs. After reading the tweet, one could believe that Jadeja had a pretty good relationship with his father until 2012. However, things turned for the worse when he got married to Rivaba, claimed his father.
In the Tweet, Jadeja wrote,
“One who touches his parents foot daily, He never faces the situation in his life to touch others foot.”
In a recent interview with Dainik Jagran, Jadeja’s father himself said that the relationship started getting affected after his son got married to Rivaba in 2016. Anirudhsinh Jadeja accused his son’s wife of creating all the differences.
“Do you want me to tell you one truth? I have absolutely no relation with Ravindra and his wife, Rivaba. We don’t call them, and they don’t call us. The issues started after two or three months of their marriage.”
“I currently live alone in Jamnagar, while Ravindra resides in a separate bungalow of his own. He lives in the same city, but I don’t get to see him. I don’t know what magic his wife has done on him,” Jadeja’s father said in an interview with Divya Bhaskar.
Jadeja’s Response To His Father’s Allegations
Jadeja, in response, put a tweet on the internet, urging his fans to ignore his father’s statements while calling the interview scripted.
“Let’s ignore what’s said in scripted interviews”, Jadeja wrote on Twitter.
Ravindra Jadeja set to make his comeback in the 3rd Test against England
Ravindra played the first Test of the five-match series against England in Visakhapatnam. He picked up five wickets in the match and also played a crucial knock of 87 runs with the bat.
However, he picked up a hamstring injury during the same and was, later, ruled out of the second Test. Much to the respite of the fans, Jadeja has been deemed fit and is part of India’s squad for the remaining three Tests in the series.
The third Test match is slated to be played from 15th February to 19th February 2024 at Saurashtra Cricket Stadium in Rajkot.
