IND vs BAN: Virat Kohli nears Sachin Tendulkar’s Record in India’s 7 Wickets Win
The legend of World Cricket Virat Kohli is leaving no stone unturned to create his legacy. The prolific player on Thursday neared Sachin’s World Record of 49 hundred during India’s emphatic seven-wicket win over Bangladesh in a World Cup fixture on Thursday. Kohli’s precise 103 off 97 balls helped India to chase the decent target of 258 runs in 51 balls. India has now made it four wins out of four games and one more win would virtually put them in the semi-finals.
Virat Kohli’s beautiful 103 runs knock was embellished with six fours & four sixes. But it was his exemplary running between wickets that grasped the limelight. His enthusiasm & hunger to register his 48th ton was nothing less than remarkable.
Along with Virat Kohli’s blistering knock, Ravindra Jadeja’s (2-38 in 10 overs) & Bumrah’s (2-41 in 10 overs) helped to get the better of Bangladesh’s bowlers & restrict them to an average score of 258 runs. India will eye a massive win in their next fixture against Pakistan which is on Saturday, 21st October. Whether India will continue its winning spree or Pakistan will emerge dominant the answer will be known only on the ground.
