All of 10 participant teams of ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 have disclosed the list of their 15 members squad. The tournament starts from October 2 at Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad with the first match being played between England and New Zealand.
This is the 13th edition of the 50-over World Cup and will be hosted by India from October 5 to November 19, 2023. The tournament will feature 10 teams, including India, Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. The tournament will follow a similar format to the 2019 edition in England and Wales, with a round-robin stage followed by the knockouts.
All 10 teams will compete against each other once in the round-robin stage, and the top four teams at the end of the round-robin stage will qualify for the semi-finals. The winners of the two subsequent semi-finals will contest in the final, where the champion will be crowned.
The tournament is significant in the cricketing world as it is the biggest international cricket tournament and is held every four years. It is a platform for the best cricketing nations to showcase their skills and compete for the coveted trophy
