Houston Rockets’ shooting guard Dillon Brooks will have his hands full in the 2023–24 season, not only on court but off court as well. Brooks signed an $86 million contract with the Rockets this offseason. Now he has a custody battle with his baby’s mother for custody of their second daughter.
Andrews filed for sole custody
According to a report, Brook’s ex-girlfriend Heather Andrews is asking for sole custody of their second daughter, Luna Brooks, as well as child support. Dillon retaliated by filing a joint custody claim. Either way, the Rockets forward will have to pay a huge amount of child support. However, it is unclear whether the former couple also share joint custody of their first daughter, Mila Brooks, who was born in 2019. Both of them also had a custody battle over Mila in 2021, according to court documents from the Tennessee Bar Association.
It is also reported that Brooks’ second daughter is eligible to access his insurance provided by the NBA. It appears that Heather Andrews and her two daughters currently reside in California. Relations between Dillon and Heather have not been good, with big claims made from her side. Brooks’ was also linked with trans OnlyFans model Big Bambina.
Despite their situation over the past few years, Heather sent Brooks a beautiful message on Father’s Day in June. “Dillon, thank you for everything you do for the kids and me. I can’t wait to bring my daughter into this world together. Happy Father’s Day. I will always love you,” she wrote.

Brooks is expected to play major role in upcoming campaign
When Brooks started his Houston Rockets career, a few minutes into the first quarter, he was called for two flagrant foul penalties, which meant he was ejected from the game. He was navigating a screen when he hit Daniel Theis below the belt in front of an official. The NBA fined him $25,000, which definitely won’t hurt his pocket as he signed a four-year contract worth $86 million with the Rockets. He is expected to play a major role for Houston in the upcoming season. Brooks will also probably need to tone down his actions as referees are keeping a closer eye on him due to his growing reputation.
