UFC President Dana White has revealed the first fighter to compete at UFC 300. Many MMA fans were expecting Conor McGregor’s name to be attached to this historic card, but recent reports indicate that “The Notorious” will not make his return until summer. White reveals why UFC 300 will be special
Dana White revealed what will make UFC 300 more special than the last pay-per-view of this year. He said there is a lot more than just the cards, but what fans can expect from the first prelims of the night is that they will go “Holy sh*t, this is the first prelim of the night? This is insane. This isn’t even right. These two should not be in the first prelims of the night. That’s how good 300 is going to be,” White said.
UFC CEO about McGregor’s return
White told TNT Sports that Conor McGregor is extremely rich and has many choices in life. He stated that Conor’s return to the fight scene depends on when he regains the passion and desire to compete. He also said that the decision is entirely up to Conor. The “Mystic Mac” is scheduled to fight Michael Chandler, but the fight date is far from confirmed.
