Currently, LeBron James (38) is the oldest player active in the NBA. During childhood, he used to play the popular UNO card game, which became famous worldwide. Now, the UNO brand has grossed over $7.57 billion to date and is also considered one of the most successful card games of all time. Recently, LeBronās wife Savannah posted a story on her Instagram that the creator of UNO has changed the rules of the game, stating “You canāt play a draw 2 on top of another draw 2”.Ā
The couple is disappointed by the rule changeĀ
LeBron reposted the story on his Instagram story with laughing emojis and tagged his wife. James and Savannah have been married since 2013, and their love story began in high school. They are the parents of three children. Savannah is a native of Akron, Ohio, just like James, but she attended Buchtel High School, a rival school to St. Vincent-St. Mary’s High School. She was also a softball athlete and competed as a cheerleader. It seems like the couple plays UNO a lot, judging by how they reacted to the rule change.
Savannah praised James during ESPYS 2023 for his hard workĀ Ā
When James was awarded the Breaking Performance Award by the ESPYS for surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbarās scoring record that stood for almost four decades, While presenting the award, LeBronās family was on the microphone talking with Savannah about how her husband worked hard playing basketball. Savannah said, “I think James is the baddest to ever step on the basketball court. No one works harder, no one cares more, and no one has done more for the game of basketball than James”.Ā
While LBJ is playing in the NBA, Savannah is also busy, she is the Vice President of the LeBron James Family Foundation and is helping to create the “iPromise” school in Akron, Ohio. She has also launched āWomen of Our Futureā through the Foundation with the goal of uplifting women in the city by providing them with academic support, mentorship, and encouragement to help them pursue education.
