5 Bold Predictions For Warriors After NBA All-Star Break

5 Bold Predictions For Warriors After NBA All-Star Break

The Golden State Warriors were one of the most disappointing teams in the league this season. They got off to a hot start to the season before struggling to pick up wins and even going on a few losing streaks. However, the team managed to turn things around before the All-Star break. The Warriors are currently in 10th place in the Western Conference standings and just five games back of the final automatic playoff spot.

The Golden State Warriors have some momentum heading into the second half of the regular season. The Warriors made some necessary adjustments that helped them win eight of their last 10 games before the All-Star break. Let’s have a look at 5 bold predictions for the Warriors for the remainder of the regular season.

1) Young Players will impress

Jonathan Kuminga may be the second-best player for the Golden State Warriors this season. He has been averaging 19.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game since January 1. Warriors coach Steve Kerr has finally shown confidence in his young player’s abilities. Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody are likely to get more minutes moving forward, while Tracy Jackson-Davis appears ready when his name is called.

2) Green will avoid unnecessary problems

Draymond Green has had a crazy season for the Golden State Warriors. He has been suspended twice for choking Minnesota Timberwolves’ center Rudy Gobert and striking Phoenix Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic in the face. The Warriors need Green to be at his best behavior, as he continues to be a key part of their success. He also starts from the center and provides a lot of energy. Possibly, he is trying to avoid any unnecessary problems moving forward.

3) Thompson and Paul will lead the second unit

The Golden State Warriors may have the best second unit in the NBA after the All-Star break. Klay Thompson looked great in his first game off the bench this season and will be even better once Chris Paul takes the field. Thompson and Paul will likely handle the Warriors’ second unit, which will have a key role in helping the team win games. Paul has already accepted his role off the bench and Thompson had 35 points as the sixth man last week against the Utah Jazz.

4) Wiggins regain his confidence

Wiggins is having the worst season of his career as he is averaging just 12.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. He started and came off the bench for the Golden State Warriors this season. The Warriors coach is doing his best to help Wiggins get his confidence back. Andrew is playing much better in 2024 and could remain in the starting lineup. If he can play like he did in the 2022 postseason, the Warriors’ chances of winning games will increase.

5) The Warriors will make it to the Play-in tournament

If the Golden State Warriors maintain their momentum and continue to win games, there is a high chance that they will at least make the Play-in tournament. The Warriors may also face tough teams in the tournament to reach the playoffs, but their experience gives them an edge against most teams. Stephen Curry is another major factor, as he will be the pivotal point of the team’s offense.
