The rivalry between Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey was one of the most known and biggest rivalries in UFC history. Their first encounter took place in 2012 at Strikeforce, with Tate being the defending Bantamweight champion at the time. Ronda won that match by armbar in the first round. However, “Cupcake” didn’t tap as quickly as she should have. By trying to fight through the submission, Rousey dislocated her opponent’s elbow. After the fight, the site of Miesha’s arm was difficult to see for spectators.

In the second round of the match, Santos was knocked out by a flying knee and “Venom” went viral for throwing a pokeball at his opponent to celebrate. After the fight, Santos revealed a shocking ordeal. He suffered a fracture in his skull, with a clear dent from the flying knee.

Devin Clark faced Ion Cutelaba at UFC Vegas 37 on September 18, 2021. Ion dominated the bout and scored the victory via unanimous decision. During the fight, “The Hulk” destroyed Devin’s face. Notably, Clark’s teeth were completely smashed as a result of a heavy knee strike in the second round. Devin had his jaw broken too.

In their first bout, McGregor won by technical knockout and in the second one, “The Diamond” got revenge with a knockout. Their third encounter ended in injury in the final seconds of the first round. “The Notorious” broke his leg and stepped back on the broken limb in a horrifying scene. More than two years after the devastating injury, the Irishman has yet to make a comeback.
