WWE knows very well what their fans want and so they regularly bring people from outside on the show, whether they are singers or actors. Sometimes they make segments that become unforgettable and sometimes a few celebrity guests become memorable because of their bad appearances. However, with so many celebrity guest hosts and random appearances, it is always difficult to keep track of them all. Over the past few years, there have been many actors who showed up but couldn’t make a big impact on the minds of the WWE fans.
10) Keith Colburn
Keith Colburn is the man people know best from the popular television series “The Deadliest Catch.” He was brought by the company in one of the segments, but his WWE appearance is not often talked about as he is not one of the biggest names. Coltburn was in a crab leg eating contest backstage with Mick Foley and Santino Marella until Ron Simmons came in to deliver his classic catchphrase.
9) Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen was a popular celebrity at the time WWE decided to work with him and take advantage of his star power. He was part of the RAW 1,000 episode, but he only appeared via Skype, which is one of the reasons why this appearance was unsuccessful. Daniel Bryan was in anger management classes to go along with Sheen’s show, WWE originally wanted them to have a physical confrontation. Unfortunately, the work could not be completed due to scheduling problems, thereby missing the opportunity.
8) David Hasselhoff
When David Hasselhoff was brought by WWE to England for an episode of RAW, he received a good reception. Although he tried his best to be energetic and provided plenty of enthusiasm for the role, it did not make it memorable. Hasselhoff didn’t do anything noteworthy to get people talking, and that’s why it became an appearance that most fans can’t remember.
7) Jerry Springer
Jerry Springer was always popular and coming to WWE didn’t change that. When he was a celebrity guest host, the company looked to capitalize on his own show, bringing different wrestlers into the ring for an elaborate segment that was filled with a lot of drama. The entire segment was presented as a prank on Springer from the wrestlers, but it made the entire segment pointless. The company could have used Springer to capture a legitimate aspect at the time, but failed, which is why Springer’s appearance didn’t become memorable.
6) Raven-Symone
Raven-Symone is one of the celebrities who made an appearance at WrestleMania. Considering that WrestleMania is WWE’s biggest event, it is normal for her to be memorable in the eyes of fans. However, other than her yelling about how excited she was to be there, it wasn’t enough to make the segment memorable. She served as the special guest ring announcer for a match, largely to promote the “Make-A-Wish” charity she was representing. It was a good performance that people enjoyed, but it was ultimately forgotten.
5) Ariel Winter
Ariel Winter is a popular actress who has worked in some great shows and movies over the years, and in one of them she also worked with Triple H. Both of them starred in “The Chaperone,” which created a reason for her to appear on Monday Night Raw. However, instead of putting her in a situation with Triple H, Ariel shared the ring with The Great Khali. He was running his kiss cam segment at the time, and she worked with him on it in what was a throwback moment that people had no reason to remember.
4) Joe Manganiello
Joe Manganiello appeared on an episode of Monday Night RAW in 2014 while he was promoting the film “Sabotage.” He and Arnold Schwarzenegger were in the movie together, so they both came to host the show and do a segment with Hulk Hogan. While Manganiello managed to knock The Miz out when he tried to spoil their fun, the fact that he was in a segment with several other big stars meant that his big moment was overlooked.
3) Ashton Kutcher
Ashton Kucher has appeared in WWE many times, but he has not been able to create any memorable moments that people still remember. However, it’s not for lack of trying, as WWE created a compelling angle for his appearance in 2010 when he hit out for Zack Ryder. This was a show-long story in which Ryder was so nervous that he thought the celebrity would be ready to attack him. However, in the end, it was Alicia Fox who attacked Ryder.
2) Paul Walker
Paul Walker was a popular actor because of his role in the “Fast & Furious” franchise and this led to many opportunities opening up for him. He got the chance to work with some major stars, one of which was The Rock. When WWE held a special episode of RAW dedicated to The Rock’s birthday, a lot of video messages came in to wish him a happy birthday. This is where Walker suddenly appeared in the WWE world for a one-time cameo.
1) Hugh Jackman
Hugh Jackman is a quite popular actor who has had an epic career on stage and screen. He made an appearance on Monday Night Raw in 2011, when he was the show’s celebrity guest host. Dolph Ziggler had a segment with him that night, with the two getting into a verbal confrontation that turned into a physical confrontation later in the night. Jackman delivered a knockout punch to Ziggler during his match with Zack Ryder, but despite his efforts, it is still a forgotten segment.
