Shazaib Khan, a Spartans hitter, hit a ball towards the covers and then raced for a single. A fielder attempted to intercept the ball as it careered toward the boundary line but slipped and took the ball with him across the rope. The event had the fielders, as well as the commentators, in fits of laughter.
