The Monday night Raw on June 17 began with the recap of Clash at the Castle, but as the show moved, the audience got a big shock when Seth Rollins’ theme music played. The former World Heavyweight Champion last appeared on WrestleMania 40 and since then he has been on a break recovering from his injuries. Rollins entered the ring in a white outfit and the crowd showed their excitement by roaring. Seth didn’t get very far in his return promo before, as he was interrupted by the current World Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest. As the segment ended, a huge match for Money in the Bank was revealed.
Rollins appeared in a different look
Seth Rollins entered the ring looking different, with a white suit and hat, and his hair were tied up. But the best part of his look was that he had no knee brace. He thanked the crowd for welcoming him and then Rollins told them that he returned only for one reason and that is to regain the World Heavyweight Championship he lost to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40.
Priest challenged Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship
Seth told the audience that he has his eyes set on getting into and winning Money in the Bank that is set to be held in July. He further said that he knows a thing or two about winning Money in the Bank, but before he could get further into his promo, Rollins was interrupted by Damian Priest, the last man to carry Money in the Bank. Rollins took a jab at Priest for nearly losing his title at Clash at the Castle, then Priest said that he didn’t go there to give up his belt because of an injury.
The World Champion even said that he should have cashed in on Seth instead of McIntyre. Damian then surprised the crowd by telling Rollins that he doesn’t have to win Money in the Bank, as the title holder was officially challenging him for the title. Rollins accepted the challenge after making sure it wasn’t a setup.

Seth Rollins’ unexpected return is making fans wonder about WWE’s further plans. For months, it was believed that Drew McIntyre would defeat Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship, and then face CM Punk at SummerSlam. But CM Punk cost “The Scottish Warrior” his chance to win the title and gave him no way to move on. When Punk returned, a WrestleMania dream match with Rollins seemed certain, but injuries disrupted those plans. It is still uncertain if the fans will get to see Rollins vs. Punk at SummerSlam.
