The 25-year-old controversial boxer Ryan Garcia has challenged MMA fighters Sean O’Malley and Conor McGregor. Garcia was present at the Manny Pacquiao vs. Rukiya Anpo event. After the event, “King Ry” expressed his desire to fight the best Japanese fighter in his weight class. He also talked about a potential UFC move and fighting the UFC Bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley. He also showed interest in fighting Conor McGregor in BKFC.
Ryan Garcia keen to fight MMA fighters
Garcia is currently serving a one-year suspension after testing positive for the banned substance Ostarine. Garcia has also been expelled by the WBC for making racist remarks, but he is now keen to fight MMA stars.
“I would fight Sean O’Malley and Conor McGregor with bare hands. But yes, it’s a very big possibility. I know how to wrestle, I know how to do a lot of things that people don’t know. So yeah, I would do it,” said Garcia after the event.
Garcia claimed that he would knock Sean O’Malley’s rainbow hair off his head. Ryan and Suga have had several back-and-forth exchanges, and the boxer believes that he is a natural athlete. He is confident that he could easily move to MMA and defeat someone like O’Malley.
Garcia’s relationship with “The Notorious” has been soured after the boxer tested positive for Ostarine. During his match with Devin Haney, Garcia put up an incredible performance. However, he missed weight for the fight and later tested positive for banned substance after which the win decision for Ryan was turned into a no contest.
McGregor lashed out at both Garcia and O’Malley
The Irishman has criticized Garcia on social media for being unprofessional, along with Sean O’Malley, who has also been tested positive for Ostarine in his early career.
McGregor took to social media and ranted a lot about Garcia and O’Malley, claiming that Ryan deserves a lifetime ban for his antics. He also despised the positive result and brought up the incident when this happened to Sean. The former UFC champion also claimed that he would beat up both Suga and Garcia and challenged them to a sparring match.
