The boxer is under suspension
In addtion to Garcia’s legal troubles, he is currently under suspension by the New York Athletic Commission after testing positive for the banned substance ostarine. This happened after his win over Devin Haney in April. Nutrabio, a manufacturer embroiled in the recent doping controversy involving boxer Ryan Garcia, has issued a strong denial against allegations that its supplements contained traces of the banned substance. The controversy began when Garcia’s legal team revealed test results for two supplements that Garcia declared on his VADA doping control forms prior to his controversial bout with Devin Haney.
