When Ronda Rousey made her second WWE run, it was not as great as it was during her debut at Wrestlemania 34. Recently, fans reacted to a video where they saw Rousey squaring off against a male wrestler. She has been away from television for a while after competing in her last match for WWE at the Biggest Party of the Summer. People were wondering what the “Rowdy” would do next in her in-ring career as she hinted at retirement.
Rowdy made a surprising appearance
However, that all changed when she made a surprise appearance at Lucha VaVOOM in Los Angeles. She teamed up with MMA fighter Marina Shafir and the two together defeated Taya Valkyrie and Brianna Kendrick. WWE fans reacted to this surprising return outside the company. It is unclear whether she left WWE or if this was a one-time appearance to support her real-life friend. It will be interesting to see what the 36-year-old will do next in her career.
Ronda’s run last year
Last year, Ronda returned to the WWE and won the Women’s Royal Rumble match. She immediately got into a feud with Charlotte Flair and lost to her at WrestleMania 38. Later, she captured the Smackdown Women’s Championship from Charlotte. Over the summer, her title went to Liv Morgan, who cashed her Money in the Bank contract. However, Ronda won her title back before November. By the end of the year, the Baddest Woman on the Planet lost her title to Flair on the final episode of Friday Night SmackDown for 2022.

After a short hiatus, she returned to WWE and spent her last few months in the tag team division with Shayna Baszler. The pair not only captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship but unified it with the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles. But Shayna attacked Ronda Rousey, starting their final feud for the promotion. In the end, Rousey lost to the Submission Wizard at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
