WWE Superstar Roman Reigns has been on hiatus since losing his undisputed title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Reigns shared a clip of himself working out shortly after, revealing he has begun work on a return to regain his title. In the Tribal Chief’s absence, Solo Sikoa has taken control of The Bloodline, and evidence suggests that he has done so without the blessing of Reigns, as the former leader has unfollowed his cousin on social media.
Reigns unfollowed Sikoa on Instagram
It’s unclear who noticed the unfollow first, but it seems some fan must be casually checking things and he went on to search for accounts that Reigns follows on Instagram. Then it was found that Sikoa’s account was no longer followed by him. This is perhaps the first sign that “The Tribal Chief” will soon be back to talk to Sikoa about the work being done in his absence, and this comes shortly after Sikoa claimed he was in contact with Reigns.
Reigns is clearly not a fan of Sikoa’s led new Bloodline. Reigns is not even following Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. To make the story even more interesting, you’ll find Jey Uso’s name on Reigns’ following list. Despite their feud, which nearly led to Uso defeating Reigns as Undisputed Champion at last year’s SummerSlam, he still has his cousin’s respect, which Sikoa no longer has.
Seems like Reigns is close to returning
Despite what happened with The Bloodline at WrestleMania, the group without Reins hasn’t really taken issue with Rhodes until Clash at the Castle. Sikoa and other members attacked the champion after his gruesome match with AJ Styles, perhaps on Reigns’ order or maybe in an attempt to win him over, knowing he was close to returning. If this was an attempt to gain Roman’s trust, the unfollowing of Sikoa shows that it didn’t work.
While this is a pretty minor thing, it does seem like the first step towards the internal war between the Bloodline. There is a possibility that Sikoa and co. will fall at Reigns’ feet but might eventually turn on him, which leads to an interesting storyline.
