After returning from a four-month hiatus at SummerSlam 2024, Roman Reigns appeared on this week’s episode of Friday night SmackDown. Reigns targeted Solo Sikoa, who stole his Tribal Chief title and The Bloodline. Reigns was full of rage and showed Sikoa who is the Original Tribal Chief. The crowd chanted “OTC” for Reigns, who was the Undisputed Champion for almost 4 years.
Reigns thrashed the Bloodline
Reigns, who returned at the Biggest party of Summer, was promoted to SmackDown. Solo Sikoa, who was ruling The Bloodline in Reigns’ absence, challenged the former leader to take back his title. The challenge led to a brutal confrontation and Reigns beat each member of the newly formed Bloodline. First was Tama Tonga, who Reigns brutally assaulted with a fierce attack with steel steps. Tonga Loa suffered the same attack.
‘The OTC’ single-handedly took them all down
Both of Sikoa’s allies were knocked down and then Reigns confronted Sikoa. Reigns landed a superman punch and the audience absolutely enjoyed it. Then he nearly hit a spear to Sikoa, but Tonga Loa intervened and pulled his leader out of the ring. Roman was about to seize the symbolic Ula Fala, which represented The Bloodline’s leadership, but before he could put it on, the members of the faction regrouped and attacked him. Reigns fought them off once again single-handedly and took them all down. At last, Reigns delivered a spear to Tama Tonga and knocked him into the barricade, brutally attacking Tonga Loa with a steel chair.
Reigns has officially turned Babyface
As the show came to an end, Solo Sikoa stood at the entrance of the ramp with Ula Gala in his hand and yelled at Reigns. Roman Reigns made it clear that he is not finished yet and he is the Tribal Chief. It’s unclear when these two will face off and if WWE will take this rivalry further, but it was a classic babyface moment, with Reigns standing up. WWE fans will be quite excited to see him as a babyface after watching him for four years as a pro heel.

Reigns turned heel in 2020, when he defeated The Fiend to win the Undisputed title. Since then, he was always accompanied by the Bloodline members and defended his title several times with the help of them. Reigns’ title reign finally ended at WrestleMania 40 when Cody Rhodes defeated him. Now that Reigns has turned babyface, it seems he will gather his own members for the Bloodline.
