WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley had the privilege of being involved in the first WarGames women’s match at Survivor Series in 2019. Since then, she has participated in two WarGames matches in 2020 and 2022. Now, she has named the female superstars she would like to team up with in the upcoming WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024. Recently, during a conversation on “Casual Conversation with The Classic,” Ripley revealed the team she would pick if she were to captain the WarGames this year.
Ripley names the superstars she wants to team up
“It would be me, I want to say it would probably be Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, the team, the tag champions. Who else would I pick? I feel like I would– It’s hard because they don’t get along. I would say IYO Sky and Kairi San because IYO has been in a few and like… well she’s been in a lot and she’s won a lot of WarGames, and then Kairi just… she doesn’t ever give up. She slammed her face into the announce table and just kept going,” said Ripley.
Ripley has yet to team with Bianca Belair in a WarGames match, although they were rivals in 2019 and 2022. Sky and Ripley have been both rivals and teammates in the double-caged structure, as Rhea Ripley’s team defeated Sky’s team in 2019, before ending up on the same team in 2020 and 202, both of which she lost. As for “The Eradicator,” she is currently embroiled in a huge rivalry with Liv Morgan. Ripley teamed up with Damian Priest to defeat Morgan and Dominik Mysterio at WWE Bash in Berlin PLE on August 31, 2024.

Mami wants her championship back
However, there is still one task left for Rhea Ripley. She has to take back the WWE Women’s World Championship she never lost. Mami retained the title against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40 and the next day, Liv Morgan attacked Mami, causing a serious shoulder injury, which forced Rhea to rest for more than two months. Meanwhile, Morgan won the WWE Women’s title from Lynch at the King and Queen of the Ring tournament on May 25. Since then, Morgan has retained her title and also defended it against Ripley at SummerSlam 2024. Now, the two are set to face off at Bad Blood on October 5, 2024.
