Rhea Ripley is currently the pinnacle of WWE’s women’s division. There is something different about her that is different from others. Mami’s muscular and strong physical appearance makes her stand out. She has often encountered male superstars just like Chyna did in the Attitude era of WWE. Recently, Ripley talked about her desire to win the men’s division belt–The Intercontinental championship. Recently, in an interview with Foundation Radio’s Adam Bernard, Ripley revealed that she is interested in winning the Intercontinental title at some point in her career.
Rhea about the possibility of winning the title
Talking about the possibility of winning the belt, she said, “I’d be stupid to say no. I haven’t seen much of that lately. I saw it maybe a couple of months ago when I was beating all the people. I would absolutely love that. That would be a real historic moment.”
Rhea further stated that it would be an honor for her to follow in the footsteps of Chyna, who captured the Intercontinental title twice during her WWE career. If Rhea wins the title, this would definitely be a great step in the current women’s division.
According to Rhea, if she wins the Intercontinental title for the first time in her career, Mami will be able to take over the men’s division for a while, thereby showcasing the ability of women to go head-to-head with men in the WWE ring. Since Rhea Ripley’s WWE career began, she has been compared to the former women’s champion Chyna. She not only has a well-built physique but also has a similar aura to that of Chyna and an intimidating presence in the ring.
Mami is entangled in the feud with Liv Morgan
Currently, Ripley is embroiled in a feud with Liv Morgan. Mami’s Dom Dom ditched her recently at SummerSlam 2024, after which Rhea has turned babyface to fight against the injustice of The Judgement Day. Her storyline with Dominik and Liv is likely to continue as she will seek revenge from Mysterio for the betrayal at the PLE. So the possibility of an intergender clash between Rhea Ripley and Dominik cannot be ruled out.

Damian Priest also got betrayed by fellow Judgement Day member Finn Balor at the Biggest Party of the Summer, which cost him the World Heavyweight title. Now it’s Rhea and Damian vs. the new Judgement day.
Currently, the WWE Intercontinental Champion is Bron Breakker. As long as Ripley is involved in the rivalry with Dirty Dom and Liv Morgan, she won’t be moving into a different storyline to compete for the coveted title in the men’s division.
