Since Dominik Mysterio betrayed Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam 2024, WWE fans are wanting to see an intergender match between the two. Although the possibility of this match happening is very low, given how the Women division in the WWE is on the rise and Rhea Ripley is the leading lady, WWE could book Rhea and Dominik in a singles match. WWE Bash in Berlin saw Mami slamming Dirty Dom in their mixed tag team match. Now, Dominik has himself expressed his desire to face Ripley in a singles match.
Ripley slammed Dom at Bash in Berlin
If a match against Rhea Ripley is suggested, Dominik Mysterio will likely do everything possible to get out of it. However, off camera, “Dirty Dom” has admitted that he is open to it, but he doesn’t think WWE will ever make it happen. During an interview with Gorilla Position, Dominik admitted that he would love to wrestle against Rhea. “I don’t think they’ll book it, but I’m here for it,” said Mysterio. It’s worth noting that this interview was conducted before Ripley knocked down Dominik at the PLE, giving him a demo of how their match would go if they are ever booked against each other.
Ripley’s response to the match proposal
Interestingly, Rhea Ripley responded to Dominik’s statement and the answer is what the entire WWE universe expected. Taking social media, Mami said, “Bring it.” Given Rhea’s badass character, it will be exciting to see her take revenge from Dominik for the heartbreak herself. Even out of character, the two have done a great job together and they will surely bring an entertaining match for the audience if WWE gives them the opportunity.

There is also no denying how much Rhea Ripley resembles Chyna and reminds WWE fans of her, perhaps the female superstar who has wrestled more men than anyone else in WWE history. Chyna faced off against stars like Chris Jericho and Jeff Jarrett, even winning the Intercontinental Championship. Today, Chyna remains the only female wrestler in WWE history to hold the Intercontinental title. Intergender wrestling still exists, but WWE has distanced itself from it over the past two decades. This is understandable because men and women hurting each other can be associated with domestic abuse. However, the company isn’t entirely against the idea, as we saw Ripley slamming Dominik at Bash in Berlin and Nia Jax once looked ready to wrestle male stars when she clashed with Dean Ambrose and took an RKO from Randy Orton.
