WWE Veteran Rey Mysterio is still not done with his son Dominik and wants another match against the Judgement Day member. The interesting part is, this time Rey wants to remove his son’s mustache and hair. Recently speaking at WWE’s Fanatics Fest event, “The Master of 619” said that if he ever fights “Dirty Dom” in a trilogy match, he is willing to put his mask on the line and Dominik should put his hair on the line.
“If that trilogy does happen, and when it does, I am willing to put my mask on the line. And he loves his mullet so much. So, I would be expecting him to put his mullet on the line. That or his Dirty Sanchez,” said Mysterio.
Mysterio praised Dominik for his quick success
Rey Mysterio defeated Dominik at WrestleMania 39 and the WWE universe felt that the storyline between the father and son was over. But it seems that Rey wants one last match against his son. The rivalry between the two started when Dom turned heel at the Clash at the Castle 2022 and attacked both Edge and Rey to join the Judgement Day. While Rey didn’t like being a heel, it worked out pretty well for Dominik. Ever since he joined the Judgement Day, his popularity has grown exponentially. Rey even broke his character while talking about Dominik’s rise in WWE and said that his success in such a short time has even surprised him.
“I’m his father, and I didn’t think he would pick up as fast as he has and I’ve always known deep down inside my heart that my son was going to be bigger than his father. I didn’t know in what way, but I just knew that he was gonna do things that I wasn’t able to do and was going to take it to the next level,” said Rey Mysterio.
Rey Mysterio about his retirement
While talking about his retirement from WWE, which seems close, Rey stated that he wants it to be in a way that he can thank all his fans and supporters around the world. He suggested that it could be even a farewell tour. Rey also mentioned that since he won’t be returning to the squared circle after retiring, he wants his final match to be memorable.
