KSI vs. Tommy Fury: In their Misfits Boxing main event on Saturday in Manchester, England, KSI and Tommy Fury failed to excite if the purpose of crossover boxing is to give entertainment. Fury won a contentious majority decision victory to maintain his undefeated record in the ring after six brutal rounds that included almost as many clinches as actual punches.
After receiving a point deduction for blows to the head in the second round, many observers thought Fury’s decision victory was unlikely. It is catastrophic to a fighter’s prospects to drop a point in a six-round bout, but two judges felt Fury had done enough to prevail despite the loss.
The boxers received warnings for excessive clinching during each round. Despite the warnings, each time they were apart, the two guys started clinching. There were very few instances in any round where either man actually made their mark since that stifled any blows from either man.

In response to his performance in the bout, Fury remarked, “Listen, a lot went on in the buildup. My right hand was immobile for six weeks. I don’t want to make excuses, but I couldn’t use my right hand. You see, I battled fiercely. I did my best during the fight, and that is all I can say. I proclaimed that Tyson Fury would never be replaced. Simply said, I’m attempting to be the best possible Tommy Fury.”
The scorecards upset KSI, and the two men got into a lengthy argument in the ring. KSI said that Fury was supposed to be the boxer while KSI was “the YouTuber.” In response, Fury referred to KSI as a bitter loser.
Many thought a bout with Jake Paul would be the reward for the victor, but Tyson Fury rejected the notion, calling it “crossover bulls—.”
Fury lost to Paul by a split decision in February after being knocked down late. With two consecutive close victories against “crossover” fighters, Fury may need to give it some serious thought before deciding whether he wants to resume attempting to advance professionally.
Logan After six rounds, Paul prevailed over Dillon Danis in the co-main event, but the fight’s conclusion will live in memory. Danis attempted a double-leg takedown, but Paul stopped him. Danis works as an MMA fighter. Danis was struck by Paul while he was on the ground, and when the referee tried to call it a draw, Danis sprang to his feet furious. Then, as security officers swarmed to the stadium to keep order, Danis chased Paul. Danis was finally disqualified as a result of his activities. Additionally, he landed a total of nine punches throughout the course of the six rounds, which resulted in a sizable gap on the judges’ scorecards that was rendered meaningless after the DQ ruling.
