On Tuesday, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) released the schedule for the 2023–24 international home season. According to a BCCI announcement, the Senior Men’s team will compete in a total of 16 international games, including 5 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 8 T20 Internationals. The schedule and location for the India-Australia series have also been revealed. Before the ODI World Cup in October 2023, the Indian squad will play a three-match ODI series against Australia. BCCI Announces Schedule For Home Season 2023-24

The opening game of the ODI series between India and Australia will take place on September 22. The second and third games will follow on September 24 and 27, respectively. The ODI series between India and Australia will be played in Mohali, Indore, and Rajkot.
India and Australia will play a set of 5 T20 matches following the ODI World Cup in 2023. The India vs. Australia T20 series will begin on November 23 in Visakhapatnam and end on December 3 in Hyderabad.
India will play a three-match T20I series against Afghanistan following the conclusion of the T20 series between India and Australia. The first T20 game between India and Afghanistan will take place on January 11, 2024, with the championship game taking place in Bengaluru, the site of Afghanistan’s first-ever Test match. India then plays England in a five-match Test series. Hyderabad will host the first Test of this series starting on January 25.
The thrilling Test series will be contested in Dharamsala, Rajkot, Vizag, Hyderabad, and Vizag.
The ODI World Cup will take place in India in 2023. The main tournament will begin on October 5 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, where the 2023 ODI World Cup’s championship game will also take place on November 19. On October 8 in Chennai, India will play its opening ODI World Cup 2023 match against Australia.
