RCB bought the services of Alzarri & Ferguson
With a decent purse of 23.25 crore RCB went for Alzarri Joseph triggering a bidding war between Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals & Lucknow Super Giants. Their fast bowling department is already bolstered with the presence of Mohammed Siraj, Vyshak Vijaykumar, Akash Deep & Rajan Kumar in the lineup. They further went on to spend 5 crore on yash dayal to add depth to their bowling arsenal. RCB made smart moves by getting Tom Curran (1.5 Cr), Lockie Ferguson (2 Cr), Swapnil Singh (20 lakh), and Sourav Chauhan (20 lakh) filling their voids & strengthening their lineup for the IPL 2024 auction.
RCB have a full-fledged batting order but their bowling order doesn’t look potent which can create a problem for them in the upcoming edition of the league. But we can’t ignore that RCB has retained their core players to strengthen their foundation & increase their winning chances. Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and Cameron Green are present in the RCB lineup which increases their strength & composure.
