Ravindra Jadeja’s father, Anirudhsinh Jadeja made a massive revelation on his relationship with his son in an interview with Dainik Jagran. Jadeja’s father said in the interview that he doesn’t maintain a healthy relationship with his son and labelled his wife as the biggest reason behind that.
“Do you want me to tell you one truth? I have absolutely no relation with Ravindra nand his wife, Rivaba. We don’t call them, and they don’t call us,”
Jadeja’s father has told Divya Bhaskar in an interview.
Jadeja’s father said that both him and his son reside in the same city but the Indian all-rounder has a separate bungalow of his own where he lives with his wife. He vented out a lot of his frustration on Jadeja’s wife during the interview.
“Within three months of the marriage, she told me that everything should be transferred to her name. She created a rift in our family. She didn’t want the family and desired an independent life. I could be wrong, and Naynaba (Ravindra’s sister) could be wrong, but you tell me, how can all 50 members of our family be wrong? There’s no relation with anyone in the family; there’s just hate.”
Jadeja’s father also claimed that he hadn’t seen his granddaughter for last five years and that his in-laws oversee everything.
“I don’t want to hide anything. We haven’t even seen the face of our granddaughter in five years. Ravindra’s in-laws manage everything. They interfere in everything. They are making merry now because they have got a bank,” Jadeja’s father added.
Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja has also put out a tweet in response to the same. He denied all the claims made by his father and called it a scripted interview.
“Let’s ignore what’s said in the scripted interviews,” Jadeja put out a note on X.
“The things mentioned in the dubious interview to Divya Bhaskar are meaningless and false. Those are one-sided comments that I deny them. The attempt to tarnish the image of my wife is improper and condemnable. I too have a lot to say but it is better that I don’t reveal those things in public,” Jadeja said in a note, written in Gujarati, on Twitter.
Ravindra Jadeja got engaged with his wife in February 2016 in a private ceremony. Two months later, the duo tied the knots with each other in a grand affair in Rajkot. Jadeja last appeared for India in the first Test match against England in Visakhapatnam.

He picked five wickets with the ball and scored a crucial 87-run knock as well. A hamstring injury didn’t allow him to participate in the second Test match. Ravindra Jadeja is still recovering from the injury and is likely to miss the third Test as well.
The third Test between England and India is due to be played from 15th February to 19th February 2024 at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. In his illustrious career so far, Ravindra Jadeja has played 69 Test matches for India, scoring 2893 runs at an average of 36.16. He has managed to pick 280 wickets, which includes 12 five-wicket hauls and 2 ten-wicket hauls.
