Since the sex trafficking legal lawsuit against Vince McMahon has become one of the most-talked about things in the wrestling world, WWE Superstars have refrained from commenting on the former CEO due to the scrutiny he faced over his behavior before leaving the company. Many stars are conflicted due to their past relationships with Vince, but most of them know that if Vince has done what he has been accused of, it is inexcusable. Most people have refrained from saying anything, but Randy Orton has been bold in this matter.
Vince working style lacked compassion
During an interview about his father’s induction into the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame, Orton was not afraid to say something that would be misconstrued. He talked about the new regime in WWE, which is being seen as a new era. The Viper stated that he loves Vince, as the former CEO gave him a lot of opportunities, but he also noted that it’s time for him to move on. He further said, “It’s unfortunate that it happened in the way that it happened. But it’s nice having people in charge of me who understand how important it is for you to be home for birthdays, Thanksgiving and home for Christmas.”
Orton also went on to say that Vince didn’t care if you had kids or how tired you were from all the matches and time spent on the road. He just wanted his performers to work. The 44-year-old revealed about the time when he was 35-years-old and his back started hurting. He begged Vince to not do as many shows and give him some time to recover, but Vince looked at Orton and said, “I need you at those shows Randy. Mother nature gets us all.”
Orton praised the new regime
Suggesting that wrestlers felt loyal to Vince McMahon for their opportunities, Orton said, “After hearing that and going okay I guess there’s nothing else I can do other than just wear myself out until I can’t walk anymore for this guy.”

Orton then also spoke about Triple H and said it’s good to see him running things. He stated that Nick Khan and everyone at TKO are great and understand that it is a different era. Orton believes that the new regime ensures the talent is good and if someone needs a little break, they get it most of the time.
