This will be the second and last meeting between the two teams, with Philadelphia looking to win the season series. The 76ers won the most recent matchup against OKC behind Joel Embiid’s 35 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and four blocks. While Tyrese Maxey contributed with 28 points and eight rebounds. Meanwhile, Chet Holmgren had a team high of 33 points for the Thunder. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 31 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals.

OKC Thunder claimed the playoff spot after their win against the New York Knicks. “The Glide” won the contest for his team with the game-winning shot. This victory helped the Thunder take the No. 1 spot ahead of the Nuggets and Timberwolves. 

Meanwhile, the 76ers are struggling without Joel Embiid. On Sunday, Philadelphia defeated the Toronto Raptors 135–120. G Kelly Oubre Jr. led the team with 32 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in that game. While Cameron Payne and F Tobias scored 24 and 21 points, respectively. Philadelphia is still 2.5 games behind the top six in the Eastern Conference.

The OKC Thunder have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams listed as questionable for the upcoming game. OKC is expected to start with Josh Giddey, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren. 

On the other hand, the 76ers still have Joel Embiid on their injury list. Tyrese Maxey is questionable. They will most likely start with Kelly Oubre Jr., Tobias Harris, Kyle Lowry, Tyrese Maxey and Mo Bamba.

The OKC Thunder are clear favorites to win the upcoming contest against the Philadelphia 76ers. Currently, they have a stronger roster. While Philadelphia has Joel Embiid missing due to injury. Oddsmakers have predicted that Thunder will get the win and cover the spread. The total is expected to exceed 225.5 points.
