LA Clippers vs Philadelphia 76ers: Prediction (Mar 27,2024)

LA Clippers vs Philadelphia 76ers: Prediction (Mar 27,2024)

The LA Clippers will take on the Philadelphia 76ers on March 27 (Wednesday) at the Wells Fargo Center. This will be the second meeting between the two teams, with the 76ers winning the first one on Sunday. The Clippers will hope to avoid the season sweep, as Philadelphia will be without Joel Embiid in the upcoming contest. Apart from Embiid, Philadelphia will also be without De’Anthony Melton and Robert Covington. However, they defeated the Clippers 121-107 without them, so the 76ers will be confident in the rematch. The Clippers have a healthy roster of superstars but they have been inconsistent since mid-February. LA is desperate for a win because they’re in a battle for the fourth spot in the Western Conference.

The LA Clippers did not perform well in their last meeting against the 76ers. They tried to make a comeback but fell short in the end. LA needs to execute their game plan well on both offense and defense if they want to win on Wednesday. Philadelphia may be undermanned currently, but they have already proven that they can still defeat them. The 76ers will have to fight against the star-studded roster of the Clippers.

Starting lineup

The LA Clippers are expected to start with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, James Harden, Terance Mann and Ivica Zubac.

Meanwhile the Philadelphia 76ers will most likely start with Kyle Lowry, Tobias Harris, Mo Bamba, Tyrese Maxey and Nic Batum.

Betting tips

Kawhi Leonard has an over/under of 23.5 points for the upcoming contest. He didn’t have a great night in the first meeting against the 76ers. “The Claw” will look to make up for the last meeting and will most likely go over his points prop.

Tyrese Maxey has an over/under of 26.5 points for Wednesday. He averaged 26.7 points in his last three games and is expected to go over 26.5 points in the upcoming game. You can bet on him to go over his points prop.

The LA Clippers will look to avenge their previous loss against the 76ers. Currently, LA has a healthier roster than Philadelphia, so their star-studded team is expected to defeat the 76ers. James Harden will return to Philadelphia for the first time since he was traded and he will likely play aggressively against his former team.
