The veteran batter, Rohit Sharma too didn’t leave this golden opportunity & made a remarkable comeback by scoring 103 runs. Virat Kohli’s 76-run knock provided a finishing touch to India’s innings. As a result of their impactful performances India didn’t find the need of batting in the second innings. They managed to walk away with an easy 141-run win putting the Windies’ caliber in serious doubt. Shubman Gill 7 Ishan Kishan failed to deliver with the bat & would aim to make their selection prove right in the second Test. For India winning the second Test & clinching the series would be the ultimate aim.
