Finally, there comes good news for fans as the Tickets for ODI World Cup 2023 will go live for sale on August 25. Just 40 days prior to the event fans will be made accessible to the tickets of the marquee event. The update about the tickets came from the ICC after the revised schedule of the ODI World Cup 2023 was released. The dates of nine fixtures including the IND vs PAK fixture have been changed in the revised ODI World Cup 2023 Schedule.
How to Book ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets?
The tickets for all non-Indian fixtures including the warm-ups will go on sale from August 25. After that tickets for India fixtures will be opened for sale in six phases. The first phase will be for India’s warm-up fixtures against England in Guwahati on September 30 & against Netherlands & Sri Lanka in Thiruvananthapuram on October 3. After the sale of India’s warm-up fixtures, the Tickets for the main event will be open for sale.

- August 25: Warm-up and World Cup matches not featuring India
- August 30: India warm-up matches in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram
- August 31: India World Cup matches in Chennai (vs Australia, Oct 8), Delhi (vs Afghanistan, Oct 11), and Pune (vs Bangladesh, Oct 19)
- September 1: India World Cup matches in Dharamsala (vs New Zealand, Oct 22), Lucknow (vs England, Oct 29), and Mumbai (vs Sri Lanka, Nov 2)
- September 2: India World Cup matches in Kolkata (vs South Africa, Nov 5) and Bengaluru (vs Netherlands, Nov 12)
- September 3: India World Cup matches in Ahmedabad (vs Pakistan, Oct 14)
- September 15: Semi-finals and final
Fans can register their interest in ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets from 15 August
Just before the tickets will be opened for sale, fans will have the opportunity to register their interest in buying tickets via https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register from 15 August. This will help them to receive the update when tickets will be open for sale so that they can immediately book their ticket & be the first to save their spot in the World Cup 2023, the ICC announced in its official statement.
The Head of Events ICC, Chris Tetley said that they are inviting hundreds of millions of Cricket Fans to register their interest in World Cup form next week & be the first to get ticket updates & become a part of a mega event. He further said that the amendment to the World Cup 2023 schedule will ensure that players & fans have the best possible experience of the marquee event which is one of its kind.
A delay in the announcement Schedule & release of Tickets is a rare thing in World Cup. For instance, tickets for the 2019 ODI World Cup, in England and Wales, went on sale in September 2018. And due to a surge in demand for Tickets, ICC organized a fresh sale on March 21, 2019, 70 days ahead of the tournament which began on May 30. It’s the first time in the history of the World Cup that the schedule of the marquee event has been announced just 100 days prior to the event. Fans will now hope that there are no further hindrance in the smooth commencement of the prestigious event.
