CJ Perry and Miro have officially ended their marriage after spending seven years together. Both are widely known by their WWE names Lana and Rusev. Although they have separated as a couple, the two remain friends and are currently working together at AEW. Perry confirmed to a news organization that she and Miro have officially broken up. TMZ Sports reported that the wrestling couple, who played on-screen married couple, have ended their marriage for good at the end of 2023. Despite experiencing ups and downs in their relationship, Perry and Miro have now decided to go their separate ways. Both agreed that they will not work as a couple and will try to remain friends and colleagues.
Perry’s official statement
Perry was asked for confirmation that this was not just a rumor, then she released an official statement and said, “Miro and I have made the difficult decision to separate after many wonderful years together, and have decided to move forward as friends and hopefully onscreen characters somewhere down the road.”
Both haven’t wrestled together since months
The statement didn’t say what the issues were, but it was said there wasn’t just one thing. It is also not said that there was infidelity or any explosive fight that led to their split. They simply grew apart over the years. They both informed AEW about their issues. It’s been months since they’ve wrestled together on TV. While Perry has indicated that they will get along amicably, AEW may be okay with keeping them apart.

Although there are many high-profile relationships in the wrestling industry, many of which involve wrestlers dating or marrying other wrestlers, it has an impact on the business. It’s been a tough few months for Perry, as she was in the hospital after suffering a serious infection that required multiple surgeries and caused her to almost lose her arm. WWE released Miro in April 2022, followed by Perry being fired from the company in June the following year.
