Pakistan vs Bangladesh: Pakistan is all set to host Bangladesh in a two-match Test series with the WTC points at stake for both teams. The first Test is slated to take place at Rawalpindi from 21st August to 25th August 2024.
Pakistan’s last Test series resulted in a 3-0 loss over Australia. That was Shan Masood’s first Test assignment as captain. The left-handed batter would be look to improve on Test captaincy record by smashing Bangladesh in the upcoming series.
Bangladesh’s recent form in Test cricket isn’t too inspiring either. They lost to Sri Lanka 2-0 in their last Test series. Bangladesh would look to forget that and provide their nation something thing to cheer.

Taskin Ahmed will be seen leading the pace attack and he will have the likes of Shoriful Islam and Khaled Ahmed to accompany him. The latter was the highest wicket-taker for them in the last Test series, picking seven wickets in two wickets. It will be interesting to see how he performs. In the latest development, Taskin Ahmed won’t be playing the first Test, which is a big blow for them.
Bangladesh has a pretty good batting unit to exploit the conditions in Rawalpindi. Skipper, Najmal Hossain Shanto will be one of the batters to watch out for. Mominul Haque was their highest run-scorer in the last Test. He will have the onus to replicate similar performances.
The middle-order consist of senior members such as Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahman. Both are must-have picks for your fantasy team along with Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
