Talking about entering Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, Dhanashree said, “First of all, I am giddy with excitement about this chance because it marks my comeback to the dance world after a nearly 18-month absence. I’ve been looking forward to getting back on stage, and I’m really excited. I’ve been away from dancing for a while, so I’m excited to return. I’m naturally competitive, so I’m ready for whatever challenges this competition may present.”

They might not be aware, though, that I’ve been recovering from an injury that has limited my performance in a few ways. I will have complete focus and energy despite these constraints. The dancer also revealed her husband Yuzi Chahal’s reaction to her upcoming stint. She revealed, “He says this every morning: My wife is the best, and she’s going to win the show.’ He says it without thinking twice. ‘I know you well; I’ve seen your dancing, and I know the impact you can create on stage,’ he tells me, reassuring me. Simply have confidence in yourself. Don’t worry about your wounds.’ I worry all the time, but he doesn’t seem to care. He keeps saying that he’s sure I’ll win the competition. (laughs)”
