Legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar even grew fond of him during the most recent IPL. The match was won by MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super King (CSK). Midway through Kevin Pietersen’s post-match comments on live television, the 1983 World Cup champion sprinted over to Dhoni and signed his shirt.

A recent video of Dhoni speaking with two locals in his birthplace of Ranchi is circulating on social media. In the footage, Dhoni is seen requesting clarification and asking questions. He accepts the request for a selfie after shaking hands, definitely making a fan’s day. 

In a recent viral video, he was spotted playing the popular cellphone game Candy Crush while flying. WION claims that because of the scant footage, 3.6 million users downloaded the gaming app in just three hours.

Nothing comparable A distinct video of Dhoni’s garage that showed his cars and bikes was adored by the viewers. The video was released by former Indian bowler Venkatesh Prasad, who visited Dhoni in his hometown.

In yet another surprising twist, Dhoni resumed his social media absence to post a lovely video of himself cutting his 42nd birthday cake and giving it to his cherished dogs.

Under Dhoni, the Super Kings have won the prestigious IPL five times. The Super Kings stands equal to the Mumbai Indians for the most titles in the tournament. Although many believed that the previous season would be his final, Dhoni has refrained from talking about retiring.

The CSK skipper, though, endured knee problems all season and underwent surgery after the Mumbai match.
