The King of World Cricket, Virat Kohli has time & again proved his prowess on the pitch. He has managed to grab the limelight not only for his on-field endeavors but also for his off-field kind behavior & gestures. On October 5, Team India was engaged in an intense training session where they were spotted in an orange-colored practice gear. During the training session, a ‘physically challenged fan-boy was treated with Virat Kohli’s autographs & got chance to click with the legendary batter.
19-year-old Srinivas turned up at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai just to meet his idol, Virat Kohli. And guess what? After seeing Srinivas Virat immediately came to him & had a talk with him. Delighted Srinivas also showed Virat his handmade painting of the prolific cricketer. Virat Kohli loved his artwork & even signed on the painting. Srinivas requested Virat Kohli for a photograph to which he agreed & took some clicks with the prolific cricketer. Even Shreyas Iyer also took photographs with the young fan & made his day special.
What did Virat Kohli say to his special fan?
Virat Kohli’s special fan from Chennai said: “It took me 40 hours to draw this when Virat sir saw this, he came to me & asked whether I needed to sign of this & then I asked can we have a picture & he told ‘sure, sure’ – he is super kind & his cover drive made me draw this”.
Coming to India’s World Cup campaign, the Men in Blue are all set to open their Cricket World Cup Campaign against Australia on Sunday, October 8. Ahead of their opening fixture the team suffered a major blow as their top order batter Shubman Gill has been diagnosed with dengue & might miss the opening clash of the tournament. Ishan Kishan might step up in his shoes & open the innings for India along with Skipper Rohit Sharma.
Indian team looked well settled & clear ahead of their opening clash. This is because they have won the Asia Cup 2023 with flying colors & are well set to recreate history by winning the ODI World Cup 2023.
