Afghanistan was all out for just 142 runs in the end, well short of Australia’s 418-run target. During the 2015 ODI World Cup, local hero Mitchell Johnson was the star with the ball, grabbing four wickets in a row. With the bat, David Warner led the team with 178 runs, still a record for the Australian World Cup.

Ireland were bowled out for just 112 runs, with Gary Wilson scoring the most with 21 runs. In a completely one-sided match, Brendon McCullum (166) and James Marshall (161) of the Kiwis had recorded career-best totals. Tim Southee and Michael Mason spearheaded the Kiwis’ attack, each taking three wickets with the ball.

3. Zimbabwe:
Sean Williams, the captain of Zimbabwe, scored 174 runs, the most at bat. This contributed to Zimbabwe scoring more than 400 runs in an ODI for the first time ever. The United States of America was asked to chase a massive 409-run target, and after they were all out for 104 runs, they won by an overwhelming 304 runs.

With four wickets at eight runs, Adam Zampa spearheaded the bowling attack, leading the Dutch to a total of ninety runs. With the exception of Vikramjit Singh’s 25-run innings, none of the Dutch batsmen could muster an opposition. Glenn Maxwell set a record for the fastest century in ODI World Cup history earlier in the day by scoring his century off just 40 balls. David Warner scored 104 runs, giving him a century in 22 ODIs.

Mohammad Siraj shredded the Lankan batting lineup, forcing them to chase an enormous 391 in order to win. After bowling Sri Lanka out for 73, the right-arm pacer claimed 4 wickets at a cost of 32 runs in his 10 overs. Shubman Gill scored 116 runs and Virat Kohli scored an undefeated 166 to help the Indian team reach a huge 390 runs.
