IND vs Aus World Cup Final: Tiger 3 has been a huge success for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film has done well, grossing over Rs 188.25 crores and is on track to cross the Rs 200 crore mark. The film was released during the Diwali holiday week, but it was not as successful as Jawan, Pathaan, or Gadar 2. The owner of Gaiety Galaxy was also disappointed that the film did not work even after a holiday week. Shah Rukh Khan played Pathaan, and Hrithik Roshan played Kabir from War.
One of the reasons it might not be a big hit like Pathaan or Jawan is that the cricket World Cup is currently underway, and India is doing exceptionally well. Team India has won all ten of its World Cup matches and will face Australia in the final tomorrow. Salman Khan also believes that the World Cup had an impact on Tiger 3’s box office performance. Tiger 3 held a press conference yesterday, where Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and the film’s main antagonist, Emraan Hashmi, met with fans.

They all discussed the film and its success. Salman Khan was asked why Tiger 3 did not perform well. Salman Khan said, “India has been winning match after match and despite that, our film has done well at the box office. Inshallah, Kal India Jeet Jayegi and you will be returning to the theatres.”
The performance of Team India has been outstanding. The team members have broken records and made history. During the semi-final against New Zealand, Virat Kohli broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most ODI centuries.
