Salman Khan had a joking question for Sachin Tendulkar at a celebration, Mukesh Ambani threw in 2012 to commemorate him scoring his 100th century in international cricket. Read on to know all about Virat Kohli breaking record of Sachin Tendulkar.
Bollywood’s top stars, including Lata Mangeshkar, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, and Hrithik Roshan, among others, attended the party. Priyanka Chopra served as the evening’s compere.
Salman quipped as he entered the stage and said, “Records are made to be broken, so I hope this one does. I’ve been trying to shatter Aamir’s records for a while now but in vain. Let’s set a record for the 200th century now, you say. You only need to make another 100 since you’ve already made 100. How long could it possibly take? Sachin became the first and only cricketer to reach 100 international centuries up until this point.”
The Bollywood superstar continues, “Sachin ke record todna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai. Or ye, Don nahi mai bol rahu. I am able to say this because Mr. Amitabh Bachchan starred in the movie that my father wrote and directed. I’m allowed to utilise the lines.” Salman then went towards Sachin and asked him directly, “Who do you think will break your 100-century record?”
Virat Kohli breaking record of Sachin Tendulkar:
11 Years Back
Salman Khan: Can anyone break your record?
Sachin Tendulkar: I think those who can, are sitting in this room only. Virat and Rohit are the ones. As long as an Indian breaks it, I don't mind.

Sachin responded, “I see many youngsters in the back. They’re able to beat my record. The prospects are Rohit (Sharma) and Virat (Kohli). I don’t mind if an Indian beats my record, though.”
Sachin led the Mumbai Indians of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2012. Reliance Industries, controlled by Mukesh Ambani, is the team’s owner. Virat Kohli is the Indian cricket team’s current captain. Virat has scored 70 hundreds in international cricket, including 27 in Test matches and 43 in One Day Internationals (ODIs), making Sachin’s statements somewhat prescient.
After a long and successful career, Sachin retired in 2013 after playing his final game in Mumbai against the West Indies. Salman Khan recently commemorated 22 years of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn starred in the movie, which became one of the year’s biggest hits.
The three actors all posted images on their individual Instagram pages, remembering the movie for its amazing soundtrack, visuals, and plot. The main character of the movie is a wealthy lawyer named Vanraj (Ajay), who would go to any lengths to have his wife Nandini (Aishwarya) reunited with her boyfriend Sameer (Salman).
