Shah Rukh Khan, Asha Bhosle, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Venkatesh and Shanaya Kapoor, among others, attended the final World Cup match between India and Australia. While Australia’s final World Cup match ended in an anticlimactic victory, a number of videos starring Ranveer Singh have gone viral on social media.
In one video, Ranveer Singh gets pumped up while also attempting to catch a phone thrown at him by a fan, possibly to take a selfie. In another video, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are seen greeting Shah Rukh Khan’s children, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan.

Meanwhile, in another video, Deepika could be seen smiling broadly as she kissed AbRam Khan on both cheeks before turning to Suhana. As the three of them met, Ranveer was seen approaching Shah Rukh and hugging him. Gauri Khan and Aryan Khan were also in attendance.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh appeared in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani most recently. This was his first box office success since Gully Boy in 2019. Singham Again, Don 3, a collaboration with S Shankar. And reportedly Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra are among his upcoming films.
A video of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika hugging each other during the game went viral on fan pages as well. The actors co-starred in two films this year: Pathaan, a spy thriller, and Jawan, a drama. On Monday, paparazzi and fan pages shared videos of the celebrities arriving back at Mumbai airport.
In addition, Anushka Sharma and Athiya Shetty were at the stadium while their husbands were on the field. A photo of them sobbing following India’s defeat to Australia has gone viral. After the game, Anushka was seen hugging Virat Kohli near the stands. As she consoled him, Virat’s face was hidden behind her. Because the camera was turned around, only his blue jersey with his name could be seen.
